TEZU, May 25: Lohit DC-cum-district executive committee (DEC) chairman Shashvat Saurabh, in his presidential address to the meeting here on Wednesday, informed that the revised state disaster response fund (SDRF) norms has been received from the state Govt and all relief cases to be considered strictly adhering to the norms.
The loss assessment should be carried out in a proper manner and recommended as per Govt Guidelines he said.
After the DDMO Damchen Norbu presented a PPT on flood damage report-2022 received from various departments, the DEC members examined the reports and recommended payment of relief assistance as per SDRF norm subject to fund availability.
The DEC also recommend schemes, like emergency restoration of damaged water supply line; immediate restoration of power supply; restoration RLR at Sunpura and retaining wall near Amik Ringya Hall here etc.
The DEC also accorded ex-post facto approval of relief assistance granted to the victims of fire, flood, and storm. (DIPRO)
