IAF on mission to recruit Agniveervayus

ZIRO, May 25: A team of Indian Air Force officers led by Guwahati-based 11 Airmen Selection Centre commanding officer wing commander S. Shanmugam visited Lower Subansiri DC office here on Thursday to discuss the ways and means to motivate district youth for IAF’s upcoming Agniveervayu recruitment rally.

The IAF in collaboration with district administration would conduct extensive awareness campaigns to reach out and enhance maximum registrations of the aspiring youth at the selection rally.

Accompanied by sergeant Ajith and corporal Hari, Shanmugam explained the Agniveervayu scheme and sought help from the DA for achieving the goal.

DC Ziro Bamin Nime assured all help and support and proposed a structured approach by undertaking both intensive and extensive awareness campaigns in the district.

The IAF personnel would conduct awareness at higher secondary schools, colleges and Govt. industrial training institute, Manipolyang to rope in maximum participation of the unemployed youth. (DIPRO)
