Natung lauds APC ideas to create self-employment

ITANAGAR, Oct 30: Appreciating business ideas of Arunachal Photography Club (APC), while addressing participants of its valedictory session of here on Monday, EF&CC, WRD & Youth Affairs Minister Mama Natung after visiting the stalls as chief guest encouraged the concept of creating self-employment.

Highlighting initiatives of the state Govt led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, he regretted that the youth are unable to grab the opportunities. He lauded APC for the unique event, first of its kind, accommodating Govt departments, agencies and resource persons, to make it educative.

He exhorted youths to grab the scope to excel by citing examples of many successful people. The Mother Arunachal is one but separated into tribes and groups leading to division of belongingness that has been a drag to progress. Terming the important initiative as need of the hour, he suggested to hold such event across the state instead of restricting it to state Capital.

Roing MLA Mutchu Mithi, who was guest of honour, urged the youth to come out of comfort zone and explore the avenue to grab opportunities and excel in self employment making Arunachal a self-reliant state to overcome adversities.

After the guests launched Mirik, a product of M/s Arun Tami, Maga Tater thanked the APC for providing such platform, adding the many orders are coming after the event as many have been working hard for the production.

Youth affairs (YA) director Ramesh Linggi, assembly secretary Kago Habung and Skill Dev & Entrepreneurship commissioner Swagat Biswas were special guests.

APC president Bengia Mrinal lauded YA department for its support for the event, whose concept was “Give back to society. APC donated over 100 leftover packed lunches to Arunachal Life Saving Foundation headed by Ramesh Jeke, according to APC convenor Dr Radhe Natung.
