GHSS to be upgraded under GJMSP: Mein

CHONGKHAM, Nov 19: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, after inaugurating new office building of the ADC here on Sunday, the GoAP led by Chief Minister

Pema Khandu has given priority to bringing administration to doorstep of the people.

The completion of new office infrastructures for ADC HQs in Chongkham and Wakro within the current tenure exemplifies this commitment to pave the way for more efficient governance at the grassroots level.

Applauding the people-centric approach of the government, underlining the prompt functionality of such ADC HQs, he appreciated Namsai DC  C R Khampa’s  assurance to implement Jan Suvidha in the ADC office, which would streamline issue of documents and avoid travelling of the people to district HQs causing lot of inconvenience, he reasoned.

He urged the people to help maintain the new office building in upkeeping office premises to beautify the township. The GoAP is also looking forward to develop rural areas so that it does not lag behind.

Mein, who also inaugurated of Chongkham GHS School’s examination hall-cum-auditorium to meet longstanding demand of school authorities and students, highlighted the school’s exceptional performance and its integral role in the community. The newly inaugurated auditorium will facilitate co-curricular activities and provide an ideal environment for examinations, he said.

He informed that this GHSS will be taken up under the Golden Jubilee Model School Programme (GJMSP) to upgrade its infrastructures.

He exhorted the students to focus on their studies and work hard and also wished them for a bright and successful career and to bring laurel to their families and the institute. (PRO)
