Khoya Paya Abhiyan | Naharlagun Police celebrate recovery of 160 lost mobiles

NAHARLAGUN, Feb 19: As Arunachal Pradesh gears up to celebrate 38th Statehood Day on Tuesday, Naharlagun Police celebrated recovery of 160 lost mobile phones at a function, christened ‘Khoya Paya Abhiyan’,  here on Monday reflecting commitment of cops led by superintendent of police (SP) Mihin Gambo to public welfare and safety.

The SP had constituted a special police team for the purpose comprising of SI Koj Tada, constables Kanto Samyor, Lham Tsering, Thutan Dawa, Debojit Borah, Sanu Raj T and Bishal Newar, working under officer in-charges of Naharlagun, Nirjuli, Papu Hills and Banderdewa police stations. They worked meticulously under the SP’s guidance by adopting multi-faceted integrated strategy, including traditional and modern technological investigative methods to achieve success during last three months.

Naharlagun Police with this significant achievement added another credit to its kitty while handing over the recovered mobile phones to their rightful owners. Mobile phones offering facility to connect the desired ones as and when required have become valuable possessions in this IT age. Thus, dealing with these theft cases had posed a serious challenge and all those involved were visibly for the remarkable success that set a milestone for the police department of the state.
