NITI Aayog advocates bottom to top approach

  • Lauds innovative initiatives

NAMSAI, Feb 19: NITI Aayog project director Maj Gen (Retd) K. Narayanan, while chairing a review meeting on Chowkham block of Namsai district under aspirational category here on Monday, has advocated bottom to top approach for successful implementation of projects.

He discussed key performance indicators (KPIs), implementation of various project and problems at grassroots level to achieve saturation and reiterated NITI Aayog’s vision for cooperative federalism.

He lauded the district team for adhering 3Cs (collaboration, convergence and competition) for implementation to achieve targeted KPIs. He also appreciated the district administration for its innovative Hamara Vidyalaya and Pehli Sawari initiatives and assured to highlight district problems for the NITI Aayog to give solution.

AONS adds: Namsai, the lone aspirational district of Arunachal Pradesh, had topped in the country in overall composite score which had improved from 51.53 in March to 52.08 in April 2022 while its delta scores had  also enhanced significantly.
