APPSC holds expert talk on smooth conduct of exams

ITANAGAR, June 21: The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducted an interactive session with experts from various examination conducting bodies here on Friday in smooth conduct of examinations.

The experts were former Chief Information Commissioner and former higher & technical education director Joram Begi, APSSB secretary D. Varma and NERIST director Prof Rajesh Kumar.

Verma spoke on process being followed by APSSB to conduct examinations and advocated good team work for its success.

Prof. Kumar highlighted procedures of NERIST in conducting its entrance examination and other important aspects.

Sharing his experience in conducting various examinations, including as RGU registrar and NERIST director, Begi enlisted reformations he had initiated in examination system, particularly APJEE. He stressed on fairness and time management in examination process by inculcating 3S (Sanctity, Secrecy & Seriousness).

APPSC chairman Prof Pradip Lingfa lauded all experts for sharing invaluable knowledge and experiences to improve the examination process and called for adopting modern technology for error free examinations. The present team, including members, secretary, officers and officials who were present, is striving hard for conducting free and fair examinations in greater interest of state youth, according to an official release.
