Road okayed after 69 yrs laudable: NBK

From Our Correspondent

PASIGHAT | Mar 30 | Expressing pleasure over sanction of a new road from Komsing to Sissen village under Siang by the GoAP and GoI, Nogong Banggo Kebang (NBK) has urged construction agency of RWD to ensure completion of the work on time with quality.

NBK president Tapun Taki, in a statement today, said that the 40-km road was a long pending demand since 69 years. For lack of this much needed road, Sissen Welfare Society (SWS) had boycotted last Parliamentary and Assembly elections to register protest. The sanctioned funds amounting to Rs 39 crore hopefully will be judiciously used for achieving the target, he said.

The NBK also appreciated Chief Minister Pema Khandu, MoS (Home)  Kiren Rijiju, Lok Sabha member Ninong Ering, MLA Tapang Taloh, ZPMs and  East Siang DC Isha Khosla for their initiative.
