Sanjoy accuses Khandu of threat to GoAP employees

SEIJOSA  | Dec 18 | Hitting hard against at the GoAP, APCC president Takam Sanjaoy in his campaign trail today alleged that the GoAP has directed all officers to campaign in support of BJP candidate or else would be transferred to interior district in case of failure to do so.

Addressing a Congress rally here, Sanjoy pointed out that CM Pema Khandu has no right to give such direction to the GoAP officers and employees to involve them in election.

Condemning the non response of GoAP against eviction drive at Dullumukh by Assam forest and police officers , he wondered why not trash out a solution when both states are being ruled by the same party (BJP).

Denying the charge of BJP that INC nominee Kameng Dolo was not a native of Sejosa, he clarified that Dolo is a native of this area and could contest from anywhere within and outside the state. Dolo has been living here since last many years within East Kameng district, he added.

After former PCC president Padi Richo had challenged merger of INC MLAs with PPA in court,  Sanjay said that it was beyond comprehension as to which party was running the Govt while the INC Govt popularly elected in 2014 with the people’s mandate was high jacked.

Former ZPM Maya Dolo, in her address, said that facilitating Patanjali herbal garden in the area is not for personal interest but for greater welfare of the society to generate employment opportunities to educated unemployed youths of  Seijosa.

Candidate Dolo lambasted  BJP for its  several allegations, saying the saffron party did not issue party ticket to any of its several disserving candidate including himself and B C Tok. Accusing the BJP-led Govt of adopting money culture to support its candidate which should be probed by the ECI observers. He exhorted the voters to cast vote in favour of the INC by considering its  dedicated service for long in the state, this  area in particular.

Former minister Bida Taku, East Kameng DCC president Sipi Bagang, APCC GS Haying Mangfi, Seijosa AS chairperson Renu Kino, senior leader Aka Tok and Taram Nyari, among others, spoke.
