Sangma asks NPP MLA to become voice of  NE people

ITANAGAR, Sept 10: Announcing a study tour for National People’s Party (NPP) lawmakers shortly, NPP national president-cum-Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma exhorted them to become a driving force to gear up the party to make it the voice of NE people,

“Developmental activities should not be neglected by you all being elected leaders,” Sangma told Arunachal Pradesh NPP MLAs Tapuk Taku, Mutchu Mithi, Tarin Dakpe, Gokar Basar MLA, state president Gicho Kabak, working Pani Taram, vice presidents Anok Wangsa & Nima Sangey Saling and secretary Paknga Bage when they called on him at Guwahati on Monday on the sideline of 4th NEDA convention.

While discussing about 2019 post election in details including party organizational matters and steps to strengthen the party at grassroots level, Sangma highlighted common cause of North East India, like ethnicity and developmental issues, the key agenda of NPP in greater interest of the region, spokesman Saling said in a release.
