Sensitize public on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013: DC  

TAWANG, Dec 30: Lack of awareness about Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 was the cause for non-receipt of any compliant, Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok said and called for sensitize sisters and daughters about this act.

Addressing a review meeting of 19 presiding officers/officials including of local complain committee headed by Nawang Yuton  and internal complain committee (ICC) formed under the Act here on Wednesday, he suggested to organize sensitization program involving all employees to check any probable crime.

It was by sensitization about Women Empowerment and Child Protection Act, adoption laws, information on functioning of one stop centre (OSC) and its services by child development project officer Dondup Pema,  OSC case worker advocate Sonam Zangmu and DCPU LPO Tsering Norbu.
