Bhutan officials & stakeholders visit as ‘Friend of Arunachal’

ITANAGAR, Dec 30: A 15-member of Bhutan’s Chhukha district, including official and stakeholders visited Arunachal Pradesh on a FAM tour, themed “Friends of Arunachal Pradesh” during December 22 to 30.

The FAM tour, as a bilateral platform intended to boost tourism and develop ties between neighbouring countries, understand diverse cultures, stress on responsible tourism, and covered Tawang, West Kameng, East Kameng, Lower Subansiri and Papum Pare districts.

They along with local stakeholders and DTO concerned visited popular tourist destinations, like Tippi Orchid Park,  Tawang War Memorial, Tawang Monastery, Sela Pass,  Nyubu Nyvgam Yerko at Seppa,interacted with students and school management committee,  Bana tourist lodge, Ziro enroute Tenga and Papu Valley, local homestays, tourist sites, Chyullu Village in Yazali, TS Homestay at Model Village guided by state tourism deputy director Bengia Manna Sonam, according to an official release.
