Arunachalee commissioned as Indian Army lieutenant

ITANAGAR, June 11: Arunachalee youth Yomli Gamlin from Laggi Gamlin village in West Siang district has been commissioned as a lieutenant in Indian Army following a ceremony at Indian Military Academy (IMA) on June 8 last, making Arunachal Pradesh proud while inspiring many others to follow suit, reported Yuvraj Mehta.

Yomli, son of Puyom Gamlin and Puyum Potom Gamlin, successfully completed his rigorous training at the prestigious IMA, joined the passing out parade to mark the transition of cadets into officers. It was a momentous occasion for Yomli, reflecting his dedication and hard work throughout his training. His achievement brings pride to entire community of Laggi Gamlin village, his family in particular.
